Planning & Development
The Department of Planning and Development Services is responsible for enforcement of the Kentucky Building/Residential Codes and National Electric Code for new construction, alteration, relocation, demolition, and/or change of occupancy for buildings and structures in Madison County (excluding Richmond and Berea).
Planning Commission and Board of Adjustments:
All meetings of the Madison County Planning Commission and Board of Adjustments are held in the Madison County Fiscal Court Room at 135 W Irvine Street, 1st Floor all meetings are held at 5:30PM unless otherwise noted. Doors do not open before 5:15PM. Please refer to this site for upcoming meeting dates. All documentation for meetings will be provided below.
