911 Service Fee

The 911 service fee is a crucial component of funding Madison County’s emergency response services. This annual fee, applicable to both residential and commercial properties, ensures the effective operation of our 911 emergency dispatch for police, fire, and emergency medical services. Additionally, by supporting these vital services, the fee helps maintain the safety and well-being of all Madison County residents.

Starting in 2025, the 911 service fee will replace the current landline fee. To prepare our residents/businesses for this transition, the 2024 property tax bills will display the 911 service fee at $0.00, indicating that it will be implemented in the following year. Importantly, this fee is mandatory for all properties, regardless of tax status, to ensure we can continue providing the standard of emergency response services that our community expects and deserves.
