Doylesville Bridge Replacement

The Madison County Road Department is driving significant progress with the Doylesville Bridge Replacement project, an essential improvement for our community’s infrastructure.

Day 1: Demolition Begins

The Doylesville Bridge project is well underway, marking a significant step forward for Madison County. Day 1 saw the commencement of demolition on the 1961 bridge, signaling the start of a transformation that promises improved infrastructure and safety for our community.

Day 2: Demolition and Cleanup Completed

In just two days, significant progress was made. Demolition and cleanup are now complete, setting the stage for the next phase of construction. The concrete crew is gearing up to tackle the headwalls, with work scheduled to begin on Monday (06/17) morning.

July 4th Update

The concrete floor decking has been installed, and we plan to pour the bridge deck next Tuesday. We are nearing completion, and with favorable weather, the bridge should reopen to traffic in a few weeks. Thank you for your patience as our team works to improve Madison County!
